Week 13: Did Spiderman Weave Web 2.0?
As of yesterday, I have graded all work that was past due, including any regrades. I noticed that there were quite a few who didn't upload to excel/speadsheet or the wiki so I moved the due date to tomorrow. . .last time!! Please check your grades to see that you have either a grade or a present in your inbox. Some of you were collaborators on projects but didn't submit your individual copies. . .Also, there are around three students who have not requested feedback from me in TaskStream!! Without TaskStream, there will be no grade for the course. . .please see me if you are one of those people.
This week: Most people should be finishing your iMovie software proficiency. Everyone can be working on the EdTechProfile post assessment as well as ensuring that your blogs are up-to-date with attached assignments, proper titles, NETS-T correlation, etc. . .I will discuss some if this in class tonight. It is also time to revisit the NETS narratives for NETS III, IV, & V!
We only have three more classes, so please get any help you might need or schedule some time to meet with me individually.
This week's question: What is your current or all-time favorite quote? It could be about education or life in general.

My all time favorite quote is from the Bible, and although I am not a really religious person and this quote is considered cliche if used in a wedding, it just seems so true and makes me feel happy when I hear it: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves."

ReplyDelete"So I jump ship in Hong Kong and make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas. A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-galunga. So we finish the 18th and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice." - Bill Murray (Caddyshack)
